* ULTRASOUND SERVICES DISCLAIMER:
After you have a positive pregnancy test and meet certain criteria, one of our medical professionals may perform an ultrasound exam to confirm that you have a viable intrauterine pregnancy and determine how far along your pregnancy is.
We do not provide ultrasound services upon referral by other healthcare professionals. Our ultrasound services are intended to provide our own patients with basic information to assist them in assessing their need for additional care beyond our scope. If you have seen a healthcare professional who recommended that you have an ultrasound, we recommend that you seek such services at sites they may suggest. Although we will provide copies of our records, we recommend that our examinations not be used as the sole basis for treatment decisions.
** EMERGENCY SERVICES DISCLAIMER:
We do NOT provide emergency care. We recommend that you go to an emergency room for possible emergencies so that needed care is not delayed.

At 3W Medical for Women you can always expect to be treated with respect by our caring staff and licensed medical professionals.
Our medical professionals do not rush through appointments. They take time to listen to you and answer your questions.
Our health care providers will assess your needs from a holistic perspective and determine how to best serve you. All conversations are confidential (as allowed within Washington State law).

Please bring a valid form of ID (a passport, driver’s license, ID card, or student ID will suffice).
If you are planning on getting any labs done, a form of payment is also needed. We accept cash, credit or debit card, and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.). We do not accept checks.
-
You will receive a link to our patient intake and consent forms via text and email from our check-in system, Phreesia, about 48 hours prior to your visit.
These forms include a review of any medications you are on, allergies you have, your past medical and family history, symptoms you are currently experiencing, and consent agreements.
Please complete and sign these forms electronically before coming for your appointment so that we can maximize your time with our providers.
-
You are welcome to bring a friend or partner to your appointment.
We ask that you do not bring more than one person, though special accommodations can possibly be made in exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of our medical providers.
-
Appointments at 3W are up to an hour long. Many appointments can be completed in less time, but an hour is available in case you need it.
Please note that if you arrive late, we cannot extend the length of your appointment to make up for lost time.
-
Urine pregnancy test results will be given to you during your appointment by a medical professional.
STD test results usually come back within 48 hours from the time they are sent to the lab.
Pap smears may take up to a week to come back, but typically come back sooner.
You will receive a notification when your results are available to view on your patient portal.
-
We can email you our lab fees or share them with you when you call.
Except for FEMM consultations ($25 per person per hour) and labs that must be sent out for external processing (fees from $16 and up), our services are free-of-charge, including appointments, exams, ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and urine analysis.
Donations are welcome but never required to receive our care.
-
Please call us if you need to reschedule your appointment so that we can match you with the correct provider for your appointment type and accommodate any testing needs you may have.
To cancel an appointment, please call us or use the text cancellation option provided with your electronic appointment reminder.
-
We do not take insurance because our exams and most services are free-of-charge.
Since we are donor-funded and do not make money off your reproductive health choices, we only charge for labs (Pap smear, STD testing, vaginitis panel) that need to be sent to an external lab.
We also charge $35 for FEMM consultations, but these are not eligible for coverage under conventional insurance plans anyway.
-
We will try our best to accommodate requests to be seen by a specific provider, but cannot guarantee the fulfillment of your requests.
Accommodation is dependent upon the provider's availability, the needs of your appointment, and other scheduling factors.
