FSLA STATUS: Non-Exempt – Full -time

EXPECTATIONS:
The Lead Medical Assistant will acknowledge in writing their agreement to comply with the organization’s Behavioral Commitments document as well as all other applicable policies.

JOB SUMMARY: The Lead Medical Assistant is a Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant who plays a key role assisting in the clinical care of patients according to the scope of duties described in RCW 18.360.050.

The Lead Medical Assistant helps to ensure that care is conducted in accordance with established standards of care and organizational policies and procedures. The Lead Medical Assistant works with the Medical Director and Clinical Nurse Director to review clinical policies and procedures, to follow compliance policies and procedures and to participate in quality improvement programs.
